Caroline O'Sullivan woke up around six am on Thursday morning to a fire in the Oaks apartment complex in Portarlington- and only had time to grab her handbag before leaving,
The 18 tenants are being given emergency temporary accommodation from Laois County Council for the next two weeks.
Ms O'Sullivan had been living in the complex for six years- and says it's been an emotional time for those living there:
