A Laois woman is at the centre of a new lung cancer awareness campaign launching this afternoon at Leinster House.
The country's first 'White Ribbon for Lung Cancer' is launching today with the support of Breakthrough Cancer Research and Health Minister Jennifer Carroll MacNeill.
Borris In Ossory's Samantha Vaughan was diagnosed in 2023 after experiencing what was believed to be symptoms of long Covid.
Ms Vaughan says the campaign will help people take initiative with their own health:
