A Laois woman is sharing her experience of hosting for celebrities.
Aileesh Carew, originally from Tipperary and living in Laois since 2005, played a key role in launching the luxurious 5 star Ballyfin Demesne.
As General Manager from 2010, she recruited staff and shaped the guest experience before its grand opening.
One of her most high-profile experiences was taking the 2014 honeymoon booking for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
The couple had visited previously, with Kanye even helicoptering in from Dublin during a tour where Kim joined him for the final night.
Aileesh left the hotel in 2014, missing out on a visit by George and Amal Clooney in 2019.
