A local councillor says her hospital care has cost €36,000.
An elderly Laois woman has spent five weeks in hospital because she can't get a home care package.
Fine Gael councillor Aisling Moran also claims it's cost up to €36,000 for her care in St. Luke's Hospital Kilkenny.
She says the lady needs two carers three times a day Monday to Friday and twice a day at the weekend in order to be able to move home.
