Westmeath accounts for the largest number of rental properties in the midlands, at 23.
That's followed by seven in Laois, and six in Offaly.
There are far more options available for those looking to buy in the region, with just under 850 properties on Daft.ie.
347 of those are in Westmeath, followed by 261 in Laois, and 241 in Offaly.
