The funeral of former GAA President, Laois' Liam O’Neill is taking place this week.
He passed away on Tuesday after an illness, his ashes will repose at Burke’s Funeral Home in Mountrath tomorrow, from 4pm to 8pm.
The requiem Mass is taking place at St Fintan’s Church, Raheen, at 12 noon on Saturday, followed by burial of his ashes in the adjoining cemetery.
His family has requested family flowers only, with donations in lieu to Laois Hospice, and ask that the house remain private.
