An Offaly founded band is leading a fresh Irish take on bluegrass and Americana music.
JigJam have been making waves internationally, including a hugely successful debut in Nashville, where they earned a standing ovation on one of country music's most iconic stages.
They are blending the rich traditions of Irish music with the spirit of American bluegrass, and have been performing with some of the biggest names in Country music right now.
Two of the bands midlands members Jamie McKeogh and Daithi Melia came in studio and spoke with Midlands 103's Courtney Callaghan about how they are preparing to make the official big move to Nashville:
