Highlights of the programme include broadcaster Claire Byrne and Met Eireann's Evelyn Cusack reading aloud stories by Laois writers, and author Roisin O Donnell in conversation with Miriam O Callaghan.
Another key event is an evening focused on writer Mary Lavin and her relationship with the New Yorker.
