Laois and Offaly are included in the warning extension.
A status yellow high temperature warning for nine counties has been extended into Friday evening.
20 counties in the midlands, west and south are already under a similar advisory until 6am tomorrow.
Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois, Offaly, Cork, Limerick, Tipperary, Waterford and Wexford come under another yellow alert from 12 noon until 8pm tomorrow.
