Tanaiste Simon Harris officially opened this year's Show this afternoon.
Thousands of people have descended on the midlands today for the annual Tullamore Show.
The showcase of rural life, boasts around a thousand competitions in areas including livestock, crafts, cookery, fashion and photography.
The event is taking place at the Butterfield Estate in Blueball - and Tanaiste Simon Harris has been on hand to open this year's show.
He took the opportunity to wish the Offaly camogie team the best of luck ahead of their All Ireland Intermediate final in Croke Park this afternoon in his opening remarks:
