That’s the call from Councillor John Joe Fennelly, who wants to see Laois County Council get behind the venture.
Up to a dozen gazebos have been provided by the local authority in Stradbally, where the local farmers' market has reportedly been thriving since it reopened.
The Fianna Fáil rep says they should be rolled out to support communities throughout the county:
