It comes as people have been turned away from driving tests.
"Penny-pinching" from insurance companies not sending out coloured discs needs to stop - that's the view of a Longford-Westmeath TD.
Current legislation says discs must be printed in colour with the green strip visible, with people unable to sit their driving test if it's printed in black and white.
Sorca Clarke believes that law needs to be reformed, even if it means putting an interim law in the meantime.
