Dudley Stewart died on the 4th of August at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

The castle's heritage trust group says his "wisdom" and "generosity" left an enduring mark on everyone who knew him.
He will be laid to rest in Clonminch Cemetery in Tullamore on Sunday after a humanist service at the castle that afternoon.
