It's gradually starting up again at 'prudent levels'.
The ESB has announced it's re-opening the Lough Ree power plant in County Longford this week.
The plant closed in July following concerns over a discharge of hot water into the River Shannon.
The company now says it's gradually coming back on line at 'prudent levels', to comply with environmental obligations.
But Green Party leader Eamon Ryan says that's a mistake:
