The lucky Laois person has scooped a whopping €49,071, with the ticket being sold in Tuthills Newsagents in Laois Shopping Centre on the eve of the draw.
Anyone who may have purchased a ticket from the Laois shop is being urged to check theirs, and, if they're the fortunate winner, to sign the back of the ticket.
The numbers from the draw on the 10th of January were: 5, 10, 24, 30, 36, 40 and the Bonus was 42, there was no winner of the Lotto jackpot worth €5,637,126.
