The lucky lotto player who scooped €6.4 million in Westmeath in May has finally come forward.

The National Lottery has confirmed the jackpot winner from Saturday 22nd May has made contact and arrangements are now being made to claim the life-changing prize.

The winning ticket was sold in the Apple Green Service Station in Arcadia, Athlone.

It comes just a day after a Euromillions player scooped a half a million euro in Moate.
