A man was arrested in the aftermath of Offaly's loss in the All-Ireland Minor Hurling Final.

Gardaí attended a public order incident at Nowlan Park in Kilkenny at about 2.50 on Sunday afternoon.

A man aged in his 40s was arrested in relation to the incident and dealt with by way of adult caution.

There was heartbreak for the young Faithful team and their supporters when a literal last minute goal for Tipperary saw them lose the decider by 1-17 to 1-16.
