A man charged with dangerous driving in a Westmeath town has told a court he knows he's "guilty" and he's "really sorry".
32 year old Wedenilson Almeida Dos Santos of Auburn Heights in Athlone is also charged with drink driving with no insurance or driving licence, according to the Irish Independent.
The accused appeared in Athlone District Court where he acknowledged his guilt after hearing the charges.
He attended with no legal representation as the legal aid dispute between solicitors and the Justice Department continues.
This led to the case being adjourned until November 11th, with Mr Santos remanded on bail.
