A man in his 60s has died after a crash near Ballinasloe.
A man in his 60s has died in a crash in the Midlands.
It happened in the Newbridge area, near Ballinasloe shortly before 10am.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, his body has been removed to the mortuary in Portiuncula Hospital.
Gardaí have closed the road for a forensic examination.
Officers in Ballinasloe are appealing for witnesses.
It comes after a man in his 80s was killed in a collision in Longford yesterday.
