Mary O’Rourke Praised As “Hard Working” At Bridge Naming Ceremony

Mary O'Rourke held ministerial roles throughout the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

The son of Mary O'Rourke is describing his mother as "hard working" after a Bridge was named after her today. 

Ahlone's cycleway bridge was officially named after Ms. O'Rourke today, with a special plaque unveiled by Taoiseach Micheal Martin. 

Her sons Fergal and Aengus accompanied the Fianna Fáil leader in the town this morning to mark the occasion.
