A midlands MEP is meeting former Bord na Móna workers across Offaly on their experience with the Just Transition Fund.

Independent Ireland's Ciaran Mullooly is hosting the consultations, having visited Kilcormac and Edenderry so far, and another trip planned for Birr.

Many workers for the company were impacted by the shift from brown to green energy and the process of decarbonisation.
