Midlands Animal Charity At Risk Of Closure

They are suffering from a lack of volunteers.

The Offaly Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is at risk of closure.

The organisation has drawn up plans to end the service, after 38 years, due to a lack of volunteers and fosterers.

It's running a campaign in a bid to fill the needs of the service - an open day will be held this Saturday in the The Mall in Tullamore from 12 - 3pm.
