A number of midlands artists will feature in a new guide for Wetland communities launching today in the Irish Museum of Modern Art.
Works from wildlife photographe Tina Claffey, from Birr, are included for their focus on unspoilt raised bogs and wet woodlands.
While Abbeyleix's Alison McEvoy and Annie Holland feature in the project for their work on Abbeyleix Bog.
The guide by the Communities Wetlands Forum intended to engage people to get involved in the protection and preservation of the country’s wetlands.
