Over €1.5 million has been allocated to Westmeath, which will benefit nearly 900 farmers and is the most in the region.
Almost €1.4 million will be granted to Laois, to be split between more than 750 beef farmers.
And almost 800 farmers will receive funding as part of the near €1.2 million grant.
