It comes as a heat dome passes over the country, with Met Éireann forecasting temperatures in the mid to high 20's throughout the week.
A status yellow heat warning for the entire country comes into effect from tomorrow and will remain in place until Friday.
Met Eireann is predicting temperatures in the high twenties over the next few days, with highs exceeding 30 degrees on Thursday.
