Westmeath has the lowest average premium among the three Midlands counties at €657, ranking 17th nationally and remaining unchanged from last year.
Laois drivers pay an average of €659, placing the county 18th in Ireland after slipping three places in the national rankings compared with 2025.
The report found the average premium across Leinster is €661, while the figures are based on new business and renewal policies sold between June 2025 and May 2026 using quotes from 14 insurers.
