Midlands Children’s Charity Appeals for Government Funding

They want to expand therapy pet services nationwide.

A Midlands childrens charity is appealing for government funding. 

Cian's Kennels was founded in memory of Longford teenager Cian Neary, it brings pets closer to sick children and their families. 

The mobile therapy unit is available at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar, and the charity is calling for sustained government funding to expand its services nationwide. 

Charity members and medical professionals are heading to Leinster House today to make a presentation to Oireachtas members.
