Midlands Community Waiting Over A Year For Street Lights to Be Fixed

A local councillor says he has been contacted repeatedly on the issue.

People in a midlands community have been waiting for over a year to see their street lights fixed.

Fianna Fail Counsellor Eddie Fitzpatrick says he's he's been contacted by his constituents in Gracefield and Portarlington on multiple occasions looking for a resolution.

Despite making numerous enquiries, the Edenderry rep has been unable to get contractors to address the issue.

He says it's about time the lights were upgraded:
