Midlands Could See Record Level Heat This Weekend

A heatwave set to hit Europe could see temperatures in the midlands hit 30 degrees.

Yesterday was the warmest day of the year, hitting 27 degrees in some parts of the country, which is expected to return on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.

The rest of this week will continue to be warm, but with high levels of humidity and cloud.
