Gena Heraty was kidnapped from an orphanage on Sunday.
The Tánaiste is raising the case of kidnapped Irish missionary, Gena Heraty with the Vice-President of the European Commission Kalla Kajas - to co-ordinate efforts to free all 8 hostages taken from an Orphanage in Haiti at the weekend.
Simon Harris says he's been in constant contact with the Heraty family and has updated them on these developments.
The family says they're still coming to terms with the kidnapping, but ask the public to keep Gena in their hearts.
