He doesn't believe increases will deter students from signing up for lessons though.

A midlands driving instructor is justifying an increase to the price of lessons.

Michael Hogan of Hogan's School of Motoring in Portlaoise hasn't increased his prices yet, but says the cost of fuel could force him to.

He says driving instructor's vehicles burn through more fuel, due to the nature of teaching learners to drive.

However, he doesn't believe a price increase would deter students from signing up for lessons:
