The course will officially launch in September.
Education training boards in the Midlands and TUS are partnering up to offer a new tertiary course for Mental Health Nursing.
Both LOETB and LWETB are offering the pathway which does not require CAO points to apply.
It aims to provide students with an opportunity to learn the essentials of the profession.
The five year course will launch this September with the FET campus in Tullamore as one of the locations.
