Midlands Family Tested For Coronavirus

A paramedic called to their house to carry out the test.

A Laois family, who returned from the US, have been tested for the Coronavirus.

Gavin Dunne and his wife and son were showing symptoms and were told on the plane that there would be a desk at the airport if anyone had any concerns.

The Clonaslee man rang the HSE and explained they had been in a area where there was 97 cases of Covid 19 in the area they have been in during their stay in New York.

They were told to self isolate and someone from the ambulance service would arrive at their house to test them.

He's been telling Midlands 103's Sinéad Hubble that he was surprised when the results came back negative:
