The Areas of Natural Constraints scheme payments will arrive in the coming days.
Over €10m in funding is being made available to midlands farmers working in adverse conditions.
The Areas of Natural Constraints scheme provides payments to farmers facing significant challenges including difficult terrain, poor soil, and climatic issues.
€4.3m is being granted to 2,400 applicants in Westmeath, there's €3.8m for 2,000 farmers in Offaly, and €2.7m in Laois for just over 1,400 applicants.
The money being paid will land in bank accounts in the coming days - it represents 85% of the overall ANC payment, with the remaining 15% being paid in early December.
