The organisers of Midlands Farmers for Africa are making one final heartfelt plea to local communities to unite and support vulnerable farming families across Africa.
Led by Offaly farmer Pat Mahon, 'A Midlands Fundraiser for Self Help Africa' is a farmer-led initiative dedicated to raising vital funds for livestock and rural development projects supporting disadvantaged communities throughout Africa.
Farmers across the region are being invited to donate an animal in support of the charity, ahead of a fundraising livestock sale at Tullamore Mart on September 28th.
