The family friendly event kicks off in Ballinasloe today.

The Midlands will be alive with trad music as the 12th Féile Cheoil Larry Reynolds returns to Ballinasloe.

The events kicks off today until Sunday, honouring legendary East Galway fiddler Larry Reynolds’ musical legacy.

The celebration includes over 60 live sessions, workshops, céilís, and cultural events in pubs, cafés, and the streets.

Máirín Fahy & Patsy Broderick are launching their CD over the weekend and a youth busking competition is also taking place.

The Féile aims to boost the local economy while keeping regional traditions alive with most events being free.
