Midlands GP Is Hopeful HSE Will Solve Flu Vaccine Shortage

Some general practitioners have received just one fifth of their initial allocation of 250.

The President of the Irish Medical Organisation is hopeful the HSE will address a potential shortage of winter flu vaccinations in the coming weeks. 

Dr. Padraig Mc Garry says some general practitioners have received just one fifth of their initial allocation of 250.

The HSE decide the figure based on the number of vaccinations applied for, and given by each practice the previous year.
