Hope On Wheels will transport 11 of the vehicles overland.

A group of Midlands volunteers are bringing a fleet of retired ambulances to Uganda to support critically ill and dying people

Hope On Wheels will deliver 11 of the vehicles overland from Mombasa in Kenya into the country to operate as palliative care clinics.

Tiktok content creator Garron Noone and former Presidential candidate Gareth Sheridan will be among the group.

Hope on Wheels Chair and Co-founder Tullamore's Tom Doyle joins them, and he says it's a cause he holds close to his heart:
