The latest RTB statistics show Offaly has the lowest growth rate in average rents for existing tenancies at 3.2% when comparing the fourth quarter of 2024 with the same period the year previous
That's followed by Dublin and Meath at 3.3%.
While people in Westmeath are seeing the lowest growth rate for new tenancies with rents contracting by .9% year on year.
The next slowest for new rents were Cavan at 1.5%, and Clare at 1.7%.
