North Westmeath Hospice wants the fighting over the destination of the Midlands Hospice to stop and focus on the people who will benefit from the delivery of the new facility.
Offaly Hospice has made strong objections to the proposed Arden Lane site in Tullamore insisting the unzoned and remote land, distant from medical and community facilities is unsuitable.
The site was selected ahead of the Wellwood campus following a scoring-evaluation.
A decision on the plans is due from Offaly County Council this week.
