A Midlands hospital is announcing a new patient-focused initiative that places human connection at the heart of its care.
Designated Healthcare Assistants will Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore will now lead a range of therapeutic and recreational activities designed to uplift patients and support their recovery.
Activities include painting, puzzles, sing-alongs, and reminiscence sessions.
A spokesperson for the hospital says the initiative will help make the hospital environment feel less clinical and more human.
