The official opening takes place at 11:30am.
A Midlands hospital is opening brand new facilities today.
Families and visiting relatives on the Ardan and Pallas wards at Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore will be supported by three new rooms.
One room is set aside for private, sensitive discussions between staff and families, with the other created as a dementia-friendly environment.
Overnight stays are possible in each room, and a refurbished ICU room is now open to relatives.
An official launch for the The Ardan Bluebell Room, Pallas Bluebell Room and ICU Relative’s Room will take place at 11:30am today.
