A midlands hospital is opening a new Outpatient Department later today.
The new facility at Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar is expected to improve the flow of outpatient services at the hospital.
There will be a designated drop-off area for patients - with parking available in the existing car park.
The HSE say those using the Outpatient services in the hospital will be updated in appointment letters from today onwards.
