Midlands Hospitals Facing Triple Threat

The number of those waiting on trolleys nationally, peaked this week at 931.

Midlands hospitals are being hit hard by three concurrent illnesses that have spread throughout the community.

That's according to the Midlands Regional Hospital Mullingar's clinical director who says the presence and circulation of RSV, Infuenza A, and Covid-19 is leading to overcrowding across the country.
