The Annebrook House Hotel in Mullingar are seeking to demolish an existing premises and construct a four storey building.
If granted, the hotel would gain a new restaurant, reception area, breakfast room and up to 60 accommodation rooms.
A decision is due from Westmeath County Council on the 9th of April.
