Midlands Hotel Re-Opens Following Fire

Emergency services were called to the establishment shortly before 9am.

A hotel in the midlands has re-opened following a fire this morning.

The Bloomfield House Hotel in Mullingar was evacuated after smoke was detected in the upper floors.

Emergency services were called to the establishment shortly before 9am this morning.

Following an examination of the premises, the hotel has been deemed safe to re-open.

Management and staff are thanking Westmeath Fire & Rescue for their rapid response.
