Midlands Hotelier Rejects Claims Of Price Gouging

Holiday-makers have been hit with higher costs across the region.

A midlands hotelier doesn't believe hotels in the region are price gouging.

Owner of the County Arms in Birr, Barry Kennedy, says prices in the industry aren't much more expensive than they were pre-pandemic.

He's cited rising costs, a lack of staff, and employees demanding a higher rate of pay as the primary issues facing the sector.

He says booking early is the key to getting a great deal:
