Midlands Immunologist Concerned That Government Has No Covid 'Exit Plan'

He says the way forward has to be an effective testing system.

An immunology expert from the midlands is concerned the government doesn’t have an effective exit strategy from lockdown.

The government say Level 5 will be lifted when the R number is consistently below one, and the number of new cases is falling.

However,  the situation is under constant review.

But, Mullingar professor Kingston Mills from Trinity College says the way forward has to be an effective testing system:

He's concerned the strategy is just to save Christmas.
