The work of Midlands Ireland is being recognised by two national awards bodies.
The body has been named the winner of the Local Authority Innovation category for the Driving STEM in the Midlands Initiative.
It also scored success at the #OurEUStory Awards, winning silver for excellence in communicating the impact of EU funding on STEM promotion.
Midlands Ireland is a partnership initiative led by Laois County Council in collaboration with Offaly, Westmeath and Longford County Councils which promotes the region as a destination of choice to invest, live, work, study and visit.
