A midlands family jewellers has closed its doors after 108 years in business.
Walsh's Jewelers, which has been operating in Mullingar since 1917, pulled down the shutter for the final time on Saturday.
Des Walsh says his grandparent's store has been passed down through four generations.
He says when the shop was first opened they sold a lot more than just jewelery:
